Vinyl Flooring

Vinyl flooring, also known by LVT (luxury vinyl tile), LVP (luxury vinyl plank) and LVF (luxury vinyl flooring), is simply vinyl flooring that is manufactured in plank, rectangular or square shapes to simulate a hardwood or tile flooring look. It is a layered product, generally consisting of an underlayment, a “rigid” core, a design, and color layer, and lastly, a wear layer making the product scratch resistant. 

Pros:

· This product is extremely durable and 100% waterproof.

· Withstands heavy foot traffic and is comfortable to walk on.

· There are hundreds, if not thousands of colors and patterns of vinyl plank flooring. 

· Can be installed anywhere in a home.

Cons: 

· Difficult to replace a damaged plank. 

· Cheaper and thinner quality vinyl plank options can look synthetic. 

· Not quite as prestigious as tile flooring or hardwood.
